Why would I want to Value Stream Map (VSM) my Lead Generation?

VSM is a visual process sketch.
What we want our VSM for our Leads to look like is this:

==> your ad==>To sales==>Client/member

But reality your VSM could look like the picture bellow

So why is it important to write out your VSM to your lead process or even further to your clients?

Because having a VSM allows you to examine waste in your process. This waste could be in the form of the time it takes to getting a new client to even unnecessary steps in the process.

Write your VSM process on how you get clients and find out if there is any ways to remove steps from the process to make it quicker and efficient.
